Online gaming is a very large phenomena, with a great variety of games, in terms of its quality, expense, and its ease of access. Some online games, like World of Warcraft, requires you to buy the game disk, which you then install on your computer. This represents a big part of the MMORPG part of online gaming, but there are more types as well. You can play an MMORPG, or massive multiplayer online role playing game, which doesn’t have any games disk, and you just install it over the internet, or without any installation at all. Some of these require you to have a monthly subscription, while others get their revenue through other methods, like advertisement.
